This Weekend: Ridiculously Amazing Concerts and Kilmo’s Birthday on Sunday
October 15, 2009
Culture Room! How I love to have any excuse to go! Why can’t they just open up the outside as a bar now and then?
There’s no way that I could possibly see and do all of the things that I want to do this weekend, but I’m going to go for the triple threat of The Bravery concert on Friday night (I might even try to pop by Rocktoberfest early in the evening on Friday), Leonard Cohen on Saturday night and Kilmo’s birthday party at Alligator Alley on Sunday. Phew! I’m worn out just thinking about it!

Um, make sure that you pop into Alligator Alley some time soon because Kilmo is shutting the doors on October 24th with a Stonefox and Nikki Moaz show — other bands might be added to the list as the date gets closer. As for Kilmo’s birthday party, which starts at 5 p.m. on Sunday, there will be the usual annual buffet and live blues music with Shack Daddies, Alligator Alley Allstars, Albert Castiglia and Kilmo & the Killers. Try to go by if you haven’t already or if you love the place because, well, it’s your last chance to indulge in the brew, bbq and blues and rock.
